Science - Key stage 4

In Year 10, those students who have not elected for Triple Award Science as an option will be entered for AQA GCSE Science A , with modular examination held in Winter and Spring Terms.

In Year 11, students will either study AQA GCSE Additional Science  or persue the BTEC Science course, based upon what is agreed to be the most suitable pathway for that student.

Triple Award Science for our current, pre option block classes follows OCR GCSE Gateway Triple Science. Those students commencing Triple Science in our 2011-2012 academic year will follow AQA GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
