Parents and carers can use Wisepay to pay online for school meals, trips, and equipment. If you are entitled to free school meals you can still register and see what your child is spending. Each day the account is credited automatically and the money can be spent using the cashless catering system; other children are unaware who receives this allowance.

If you want to purchase school uniform online please visit our supplier, Imprint Schoolwear.

You must be on the school’s student data base as a parent or carer in order to register. If you have more than one child at school you still only need one Wisepay account but each child will have a separate account, so please take care when putting money on to their account.

You can still use cash and cheques to top-up the cashless catering account. Wisepay will show you all the payments you have made online and will also show your child’s cashless catering balance (for both online and cash credits) as it was at the end of the previous day.

Whatever method is used to top up their account your child's new style id card can be used to pay cashlessly for meals and equipment, to prove their identity when collecting prepaid items and as their library card. They can't pay cashlessly in the after-school tuck shop.

If you pay for items online it will say in the description where your child can collect the item, this will normally be from the Student Services Office in Ashbourne or directly from the class teacher. They should have their school identity card when making a collection.

We hope the Wisepay system makes things easier for parents and carers, making payments straightforward and providing timely and useful information. At school the system reduces administration and cash handling so saving money.

If you have any difficulties or queries please email wisepay@johnport.derbyshire.sch.uk you can also email this address to find out how to apply for free school meals.
