Exam Certificate Collection
Certificates for exams sat in 2018/19 will be available for collection to students attending the annual presentation evening held in December. If you are not able to attend the presentation evening, please ring the exams office on 01283 291018 to arrange a time and date when you wish to collect. They can then be collected from the main reception on the agreed date/time. Please note that at least 24hrs notice is needed for the certificates to be available at reception.
A nominated person may collect certificates on a student’s behalf provided they bring ID and a signed letter from the student saying they give permission for the results to be collected on their behalf.
Alternatively the certificates can be posted if a stamped, self-addressed envelope is provided by the student. Exam certificates are posted the day following the presentation evening.
Exam Certificates from previous years can be collected in the same way by contacting the exams office on 01283 291018.
Post Results Services
The Exam Boards offer the following services after results day.
Priority Review of Results and/or Script Returns
If you are an A-level student and your university place is uncertain and you only just missed your grade, you may consider requesting a priority review of marking of your exam paper. However, only scores close to the next grade boundary should be considered for review. It is also important to note that grades may go down as well as up.
You may also consider requesting your exam paper back. Photocopied scripts are available for A-Level and will arrive speedily, and enable you to see whether you should request a review.
Before making any decision, please discuss your course of action with your teacher or head of subject.
If you are a GCSE student whose entry to a Level 3 course (sixth from, college or apprenticeship) is uncertain, you may wish to request a priority review of marking of your exam paper. However, only scores close to the next grade boundary should be considered for review. It is also important to note that grades may go down as well as up.
Please contact the Exams Office or Reception as soon as possible to ensure your request is processed before the deadline.
Please complete a Post Results Services form available here. The form is also available from the Exams Office or Reception.
Payment can be made either by cheque or cash and fee information can be found here. Fees are refunded if the review of marking leads to subject grade going up. However, a cost is incurred by a change in mark that does not lead to a grade going up.
