Due to the continuation of COVID-19 testing in schools, John Port Spencer Academy are looking for volunteers to be part of our COVID-19 testing team. The testing is due to resume on Thursday 2nd September until Friday 10th September 2021. If you would like to volunteer to help, please read the information below.
Roles available are as follows:
- Test assistant – providing guidance to students on how to swab
- Processor – preparing test sample for analysis and interpreting result
Volunteers working in schools must adhere to safer recruitment guidelines. To register as a volunteer, please complete the application form and email your full work history or CV to Mrs Walker-Endsor (Estates and Facilities Manager) by email: firstname.lastname@example.org.

Once you have completed the application form along with your full work history, we will arrange a suitable time for you to visit John Port Spencer Academy, have an informal chat about the roles available and finalise the application process. Some online training will be required but further details about this will be discussed during your visit.
Visits are likely to be arranged on Monday 9th and Tuesday 10th August 2021.
