Parent Teacher Association

The John Port Spencer Academy Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a charity body which relies on volunteers and organises up to 25 fundraising events each year. Funds raised by the PTA are channelled back into the school, providing funding for equipment or student opportunities that would not otherwise be possible from normal budget allocation.

Recently, the PTA were able to support requests ranging from magazine subscriptions to larger investments such as defibrillators across the site and seating in the library.
