Student Support

The Student Support faculty works with individual students to create programmes tailored to need. A range of interventions are available, across the four broad areas of need:

  • Cognition and Learning
  • Social Emotional and Mental Health
  • Communication and Interaction
  • Physical and Sensory

The interventions are created/delivered according to feedback from student/parent voice activities. Please contact us to find out which interventions are running at any given time.

Student Support also offer enhanced transition experiences. Please contact us if you wish to discuss what we can offer.

Where can I find more information or advice?

Further information and advice is available in the school’s SEND information report and via the Derbyshire Local Offer.

The Derbyshire Local Offer provides information for children and young people with special educational needs (SEND) and their parents or carers in a single place, making it clear and accessible. Derbyshire’s Local Offer includes leisure and activity providers, health and care services, education providers and support groups.
