On the 6th and 7th of June 2017 John Port School was inspected by Oftsed.
Unfortunately, the school has been judged as ‘Inadequate’ and the school requires ‘special measures’. Obviously, the whole school is disappointed by this outcome and I would like to reassure the whole school community that significant changes and actions have already been put in place to move the school forward. Following on from last year’s results, the school has been working hard to improve outcomes and I am pleased to say that these have already had positive impacts. In addition, I am confident that John Port School, working with the Spencer Academy Trust and continuing to work with the Interim Academy Board, will continue to improve rapidly.
